How about displaying the number of post views or likes?

I quite often see the situation, mostly in Reader Cars', where someone has obviously spent ages writing up a post, but there are no replies. It could well be there are no replies because no one has any questions and not that the post hasn't been read or liked, but the poster has no indication of this unless everyone replies with "Great post, OP" or similar which would drown out the thread content.

So to encourage posters, how about displaying the number of post views, or likes (I'm not sure dislikes would be a good idea), or something similar?
