Issue with PH app

I may be missing something but when using the PH app to access the forums if I click on a link I can’t see a way of getting back to the forum again other than closing the app down and starting again.

It happens if I click the smilies button as well as links posted by forum members. On the web version it would open another tab on the browser and the back button does the trick but there is no back button on the app.

Using iPhone 15 if it makes any difference.

Just found out how to do it

Sideswipe the screen and it goes back a page

Doesn’t work for me. Absence of a back button in the forums in the app is a bit of a miss.

What phone or device are you using as I’ve used the screen swipe (L to R) on both android and iOS and it works perfectly?

But if you’re using chrome then you aren’t using the app??

And chrome does allow edge swiping L-R to go back / R-L to go forward if you have already gone back

It works if you start the swipe from the very far left. I came I. Here to leave the feedback that it needed a back button!

I've noticed an issue if I am following a link from a browser to a forum post, it loads the app instead of staying in the browser, but the app never actually loads the content. I just get a blank screen instead.

Yep same here. Workaround is to open the link in a new tab.

Ah great! Why did I not think of that..... I was at the point of deleting the app but will try a new tab.

The back swipe was working for me, but now appears broken.
When swiping back i see the previous page but greyed out with a spinning circle. Have to close and reopen the app to be able to navigate the forums again.
Hope it improves with the back button addition

Yep, glad this is going to be fixed, it was pretty unusable without the back button. Saying that I didn't realise you could swipe to go back. Back button would be better though.
