The GtI & R owners thread in VAG section won't open, just give a 500 error.
Has it gone?

Also slight irony that this https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... here in Website Feedback apparently about Pie & Piston being broken, is broken.

Can someone at PH tech please set a daily reminder to feed the hamsters. 🐹

Nice.

Ce soir monsieur et madame we 'ave for you a banquet extraordinaire...

Welcome to the world of Haute Hamster Cuisine, where the portions are tiny, the butter is plentiful, and the main ingredient is... remarkably small. Here are ten recipes that bring a certain je ne sais quoi (and perhaps a bit of wood shaving) to the dinner table.

1. Hamster à l’Orange
A classic of the repertoire. The hamster is slow-roasted until the skin is lacquer-crisp, then glazed with a reduction of Seville oranges, Grand Marnier, and a whisper of star anise. Serve atop a single, toasted brioche crouton.

2. Coq au Hamster
In this rustic farmhouse favorite, the hamster is braised for hours in a full-bodied Burgundy wine with pearl onions, button mushrooms, and lardons. The wine stains the meat a deep, dramatic purple, perfect for a moody autumn evening.

3. Hamster en Croûte
A delicate hamster fillet is wrapped in a layer of mushroom duxelles and savory crêpe, then encased in a golden, buttery puff pastry. It is essentially a "Hamster Wellington," served with a side of truffle-infused red wine jus.

4. Soupe à l’Oignon avec Hamster
A rich, caramelized onion broth topped with a thick slice of baguette and a mountain of melted Gruyère. The hamster is hidden beneath the cheese crust, providing a surprise "find" for the diner midway through the bowl.

5. Hamster Confisqué (Hamster Confite)
Cured in sea salt and herbs, then slowly poached in its own rendered fat at a very low temperature. This results in a texture so tender it can be spread onto a cracker like a fuzzy rillettes.

6. Bouillabaisse de Hamster
A Provençal fish stew, but with a rodent twist. Hamsters are simmered in a saffron-scented broth with fennel, tomatoes, and garlic. Serve with a side of rouille—a spicy garlic aioli—to be smeared liberally over the tiny drumsticks.

7. Hamster au Poivre
For those who like a bite. The hamster is encrusted in cracked black peppercorns and seared in a hot copper skillet. It is finished with a flambé of cognac and a splash of heavy cream to create a sauce that is both silky and sharp.

8. Escargots de Hamster
In a subversion of the snail classic, small morsels of hamster are tucked into recycled snail shells. They are then drowned in an excessive amount of garlic-parsley butter and baked until bubbling. Tongs are required; napkins are mandatory.

9. Hamster Provençal
A celebration of the south of France. Sautéed quickly with heirloom tomatoes, Niçoise olives, capers, and a generous amount of Herbes de Provence. It’s light, vibrant, and goes perfectly with a chilled glass of Rosé.

10. Hamster Soufflé
The ultimate test of a chef's skill. A light-as-air Gruyère souffle base into which finely minced hamster is folded. It must be rushed from the oven to the table before it collapses under the weight of its own culinary pretension.
