What's the situation about posting virus alerts on the forum?

Have a look at an anti-virus website first... life www.mcafee.com to establish whether it's a hoax or not...

To be honest, I'd rather not receive second-hand virus alerts on PistonHeads as I already get them direct from Sophos and Norton / Symantec anyway - I subscribe to their emergency virus information bulletins.

I'd humbly suggest that they would serve no purpose on PistonHeads.

Just stick that in your bookmarks and keep an eye on it, better still regularly update your AV, preferably Syamantec then I get my Bonus !!!

Too many hoaxes about - leave it to the professionals. Just install some decent virus protection and let it do its job.
