Doing things for charity

I am going to do something for a charity. Is there a policy on asking for support on PH?

PH does a fair bit for charity each year so I don't feel too bad about asking people to be restrained in their charity requests on the forums.

Your call, but I'd rather not have the forums full of "Please will you sponsor my son to eat mackeral pies" or "Please sponsor my gran in her bid to jump the Grand Canyon".
