Spidey senses are spidey, but am interested to know what other members think. Start at the bottom :

I think you are on to something, yes. How did you spot this? Suspicion?

I’ve asked it a question in the photo of your dinner thread. Let’s see if, and how, it answers.

Wow. This is hilarious.

I spotted some weird punctuation from a user in the Watches forum. Yeah, I know, I have made some mistakes here and there especially with words I haven't used for a while, but haven't bothered editing wink

Wouldn't be surprised if these bots start posting some diarrhea shilling something soon. Note, they may very well be legit users from non-English speaking backgrounds, or non-native speakers.

To be honest, I think that those contributions are probably more interesting than most of mine.

Way things are going this place may be all bots in a couple years, 300bots/ton, Welshbot, Dogbot with it’s strange fascination with council birds, Chemicalbot, in standby mode with one camera on the phone….

The syntax they are using is completely at odds with the vernacular we use to speak/write, so I went noseying at their other posts and saw they are all the same hehe. IMO it's either an AI bot or Yoda is now a member of the forum. biggrin

I once called out someone as a bot on here but it turned out they weren’t and I ended up eating humble pie and apologising.

More careful now but these posts definitely look bottish to me; I can’t help but read them in that horrible female Chinese-American robot voice that talks at you during tik tok videos and find it helps to weed them out.

Unfortunate side effect is it probably makes me both sexist and racist at the same time, and I’ll be carted off to a correctional facility for re-programming. And not before time either teacher

Another ? I'd have a small bet.

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?me...

Exact same format as the original one that this thread was about. Look closely at the syntax across their posts.

For future reference the site below is good for checking whether or not an account is spam / AI bot related.

https://www.stopforumspam.com/search

I've used it a number of times on PH to report similar accounts. In this case enter the username ellieellie on the site above and it brings back 3 matched results.

This goes back to the beginning of this thread. No reply, of course. It/they posted on photos of food/drink threads, but never attached a photo. Active for a month or two, then went silent.

Same syntax as the previous banned ones.
