Bots posting on PH

As identified on several threads and a quick look at its posting history confirms as much, its clear that Paddy1970 is a bot.

Q:
1. What is PH policy regarding bots posting ?
2. Does PH create, procure or use any bots to post on forums?
3. What would you like humans to do when a bot appears in a thread ? Engage, ignore or report?

Thanks for the report. That is what we would like PHers to do if they suspect bots.

Action has been taken on the reported suspected bot.

I think it's also a fair certainty the user "Mr Select" is also a bot, oddly one that's been designed to advertise Shell and thier service station facilities and fuels.
