A couple of weeks ago I was unable to reply in a topic. I couldn't log in with my access despite being a member for several years.
I set up a new account, hoping eventually to regain the original.
On Tuesday I replied in a topic with the new account log in. No problem.
Today I failed to post a reply and get a message box saying there is a 14 day period of grace/qualification. The topic was opened yesterday and active.
So, any ideas what is happening?

You probably want to post this in Website Feedback instead, but to save you the time there are lots of "send us a message to info@pistonheads.com " responses from PH Towers. So do that.

Not a mod, but:

New members are restricted from posting for a grace period, and for posting in specific forums (NP&L) for a year + need 1000 posts in order to avoid people just opening new accounts to circumvent bans, and to reduce the incidence of spam/trolling.

it's feasible your post was created in one forum (that your account has posting rights in) then moved to one where your account doesn't have rights.

You should really get your old account back if possible, for this reason. Also, old accounts have some classifieds-posting-for-free privs that new accounts lack.

I was aware of restrictions for new accounts. The message I get when a failed reply happens is that it was for a topic where discussions might occur that could be deemed open to heated debate/name calling etc.
My preferred option is to get access to my original account.
So I will ask the Mods what can be done.

You need to log in to your sospan account using your fsnet.co.uk email address.

The email address you have used to register the Plus4Four# account is different (a yahoo.co.uk address).

I have disabled the sosplan account since you seem to be happy using the PlusFour4 account.
