Selling a car on PH

Sold a few cars on PH and never had any real issues .
Now selling my mums VWPolo , lovely car.
I keep on getting one guy insisting he needs a truevinreport.com on the car. He’s now sent me 5 emails saying this . I’ve sent him an email saying let’s talk about the car , and he said can’t talk as my phone is broken , then I suggest meeting up, I’ll buy him a coffee, and I’ll get the report on the day , I e even told him he was a scammer and told him to F off. Just seems that he’s an AI bot .

So any one used true vin report ?

It's a scam/marketing.

Can't say I've ever hear of them. And if you are selling it's up to the buyer to be 'caveat emptor', not the seller

I Googled the company and it is a US email address - prices in $. Says it all.

To be honest even if it hadn’t been mentioned umpteen times on PH over the years it would still scream “SCAM!!!” What kind of buyer asks the seller to purchase a car check report?

As you know its clearly a scam. Why would anyone want to use a VIN checker that uses a scam to drive people to its website.

I see its a UK site. It needs to be taken down.

As others have said its a Bot not a person, block ignore move on.

I'm getting lots of this kind of stuff from job agencies even though I haven't been looking for over 2 years almost the same email address but slightly different every time
