Formatting codes

Ted, how about instead of the formatting codes, you put some "buttons" on the reply window, so that people can type (or paste) text, then highlight the bit they want, click on a button to make it bold, italic, or insert a picture...?

Might make it more friendly for the non-IT bods...

Yep, have seen this elsewhere. I use an HTML edit control for putting news stories in but that doesn't work with Netscape etc. Can be done but will require a fair amount of Javascrpting and testing. I'll start work on some simple additions at some point.
