Any plans to update classifieds functionality?

Hello

Do you have any plans to improve the function of the current classifieds search? I find it really lacking in options compared to, dare I say it, Autotrader.

With AT, you can filter all sorts. Mileage, fuel, body type, colour, transmission, etc. I find it really useful in reducing a search to a manageable number of cars. When I use PH classifieds, I end of with pages of cars that I'm not interested in.

Any thoughts?

Agreed, absolutely fair comments. Our search leaves a lot to be desired, and isn't keeping up with the growth in volumes of stock. However we're going to be doing something about this soon.

TBH I like it as it is, so if it's changed dramatically could there be the possibility of using it the way it is now?

We'll retain the current way of browsing into make and model, and you'll always have the option of looking at as many cars as you want. However we're going to introduce some nice new search tools which will help you to find interesting cars amongst the many thousands we carry. We're not going to be doing any nasties like forcing a postcode submit either. I really don't think you'll find much to dislike tbh.

When do you think this is likely to go live (or even be available for a select few to test )?

I'm reaching the end of my tether with AutoTrader but I really do need to be able to filter my search on PH in a similar way to AT.
