Images in the classifieds

The Classified ads here on Pistonheads is great - almost as good as Autotrader, but slight issues with images.

Many of the classified ads try and display dead/non-existant images. Shirley a file_exists would sort this out and display 'awaiting image' or am I missing something.

Also image viewer would benefit from line of thumbnails at top rather than just empty squares.

Just some ideas Chaps.

to save starting a fresh thread, i tried posting an ad last night and the images wouldn't load. can you load ads up from abroad [i'm in UAE, car is UK] or do i need to bash by laptop against a hard surface?

The site doesn't care where in the world you are, how big are the images?

under 500kb, might be the crappy connection i had last night. no worries, cheers will.

If all else fails, try doing them one at a time, it should help if the connection is particularly slow.
