Purely out of interest, it seems like an awful lot of work keeping up with all the different threads or do you rely on people reporting 'naughty threads'. How much time do Mods generally dedicate to the task and how do you fit this around work? Also, how do they get selected?
I'm not angling to be a mod btw, I probably don't have the time, purely interested

This is very true.. Mods do all sorts of things, but mainly the brief is to keep things moving in the right direction without transgressing any of the rules of posting.. We move topics, tweak titles (where required), edit/delete posts/threads, throw naughty folk in Parc Ferme or the Sin Bin for discussions about conduct.. That sort of thing..

Noted As Slinky has said, we try and keep things on a straight and narrow path, we dont always get it right, but also require a lot of input from all of the PH Community.
We also have our own forum, where we keep all the Porn and Mr Will*

All of this costs Haymarket in excess of £100M per annum, and I'll no doubt be killed and my head hung on one of the many, many vast walls in the east wing of one of the PH hunting lodges, for sharing this information with you.
