Track/motorsport mechanicals

Just wondering what interest there'd be in a section for discussing mechanicals/modifications for motorsport and track cars?

As an example, I contributed to a thread yesterday on Yellowstuff brake pads but it soon disappeared off the radar in General Gassing.

I have dropped the occasional such thread into 'Trackdays' but it seems a bit odd there as it's mainly for discussing...well...trackdays. Unless that section was renamed 'Track days and track cars'?

Yep - you just don't get the footfall of the motorsport/trackday community through there though.
