Hey guys i put a post up in Biker Banter for a friend who is in Southport Spinal Injuries Unit - It hasn't just been moved it has been deleted.

What gives? :-(

Is it a charity request? If so probably removed on that basis, IIRC the powers that be at PH doesn't like them as we'd soon be overrun with people cup in hand, as it were.

You know all i wanted was to get some bikers to go on a ride out to cheer some lad up who is paralysed from the neck down FFS!!

They can Check out my posts over the years do i look like someone who is a bloody spammer, i know rules are rules but jesus christ.

I'm sorry mods but i'm going to go to bed because i am absolutely livid over this. I have never unlike a lot on here promoted anything to personally benefit myself, i only wanted to let some bikers know of a ride out to cheer up some lad who is thoroughly fed up.

I'm pissed off big time.

I can understand you are pissed off, but it is part of the posting rules and has been for a long time now.

PH gets so many threads like this, as with 400,000 people posting there is always someone who has a charity event or activity that they want to promote. In the end we just had too many being posted. We are always happy to consider running big events editorially so it's worth dropping us a line, but we do have to remove your post to show consistency to all those who have had similar posts removed over the years.
