Moved topics logic

Could a mod please explain why my thread about getting drunk has been moved to the food and drink forum but the thread about pooing hasn't been moved to the medical forum.

Or do you just move stuff around randomly

As far as I am aware, they use a set of Yahtzee dice to determine which threads are moved, and where to. There has been talk of switching to those geek 24 sided dice to increase the random nature of thread transference.

There is a fairly complex flow chart we go through, involving aforementioned dice at particular steps. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

I did look at it earlier and thought should it be moved, after reading your post I decided that IMHO that it was OK in the Lounge. It appears that another mod didn't view it in the same light, I'll take another look and see what's going on.

No trace as to who moved it so I've moved it back, that's not to say that it'll stay there.

Can you have it so a thread can be in more then one forum at once?


That way if some sayes i came home pissed couldn't get the key in door and finally got in turned on the telly got bored and played a computer game. Looked at me watch and went to bed after taking a picture of me knob.

If i count it right that could be in at least 5 different forums

There was a thread in here the other week about the same subject IIRC RacingPete stated that whilst it was not impossible it was just not feasible at this point in time owing to resources, but he would put it on the things to discuss list.
