Fuel costs in "My Garage"

It's probably been asked before, but would it be possible to extend the running costs functionality of "My Garage"? The cynic family is currently in financial lockdown so I'm planning to use Pistonheads to track car running costs but tracking actual fuel costs & economy would need to be done offline.

This functionality would also mean that where a member has kept their profile up to date all those "What economy should I expect from..." questions would be automatically answered.

I know fuel is boring but given the number of threads on the subject it's also a major consideration. I also know that many of us would rather not know how much our P&J actually drinks, but of course there's no obligation to use the functionality.
