Number of thread pages

weirdly I find quite often the number of pages of a particular thread shoot up and then go back down again, any reason for this?

at the moment some are stating they can see 8 pages on the GTR thread but I can only see 4

You can select the page lenght, (No. of posts) in the preferences page. Different numbers will give you a different No. of pages.

Go into 'my preferences' and you can choose how long the page is. If you are not logged in the pages will change.

There's also a long running issue with taking over someone's profile preferences. It's only obvious if you've chosen a different skin to the forum so you notice it looks different.
