It has been moved for a tidy up as over the last few pages it seemed (sadly) to have descended into chaos.
Taking a look through there seems to be a lot of clearing up to do, so it might be better to start afresh like we did with the climate change thread? It's a topic worthy of discussion, but this one is rather untidy.....

If you can state the rules of the road at the top of this thread it would really help. I´m all for free speech, but this got into internet personalities rather than the thread and the topic was excellent at putting new information into most peoples view. Glad the thread is not gone, but a rules of the road would really help

Agreed.As I mentioned on the thread, it is probably the most interesting and involving thread I have ever seen on PH.
I saw people's minds on a subject change through discussion and information and a good number of posters joined PH just to contribute.
I don't know whether a strict set of rules are needed, simply because I don't know how you could set up such a framework. There has been a bit of self-moderation where possible in the thread which is good also.

This is the second thread in whcih you've posted. Well done! Pity it's about the McCanns. Why are you on PH. Either stick to a McCann obsessives' site or contribute elsewhere on PH. this is not just aimed at you.
