F1 only section

It makes sense. There are separate boards for minority motorsports like drag racing and the various ginetta series, I don't see why the most popular form of competitively going around a track really fast is lumped in the "general" board with the likes of tier 4 of the County Armagh off-road go-kart cup.
Surely F1 draws enough posts and has enough of a standing to warrant its own board?

There is simply no need to or benefit from segregating F1 out of General Motorsports. Sure, it might organise threads into well-marked categories, but this kind of segregation severely inhibits the flow of communication in the forums.
Ginetta, drag racing, etc. don't exist because they have a lot of posts. It's quite the opposite. They exist because they're specialised, don't have as much posting, and those topics would get lost in the fast-paced world of General Motorsports.

Or mayby general gassing is so full of f1 that ginetta, drag racing gets overlooked it works both ways. If there is seperate sections for ginetta then why isn't there a sperate section for rallying, touring car etc they often gets overlooked.Ginetta, drag racing, etc. don't exist because they have a lot of posts.
