Go straight to first unread post since last visit

Why such a helpful feature is not implemented in the forum? Or if it is, where do I find that button?
It's so annoying having to scroll down the whole page and search for new posts, when it could be done automatically after clicking a button like on other message boards.

Yupp, and tried clicking it many times. It takes me either to the first page of the thread or to the last page. Never "just below the LAST VISIT" mark

Same here. It's a useful feature and it would be nice to have it work properly on PH.

It's never worked for me. Always takes me to the last page of the thread.

Keep in mind that it's not actually the first **unread** post since your last visit, it's the first post since your last visit.

It works most of the time for me, but sometimes I'll pop into a thread I haven't been on for donkeys, such as the Sean Connery thread, and it will take me to a post that was today, rather than 3 weeks ago when I last peered in there, and other times, despite me having read the last post, I will go back in at some point, and it will drop me 5 or 6 pages back. Very odd.

I made a post about this a while ago, but would it be possible to have, as a default, the ability to just click the thread title to take you to the first post since the last visit? If you haven't read any, it would drop you on post 1, and if you have it will drop you where you need to be. No need to try to get the wee icon on iPod, or whatever.

The cookie isn't forum specific. It's just related to when you last visited the site.
