Just an observation that doesn't fuss me.

The thread was closed, noted as "should be on the YouTube thread"...or something.

From where I stand, this was a thread about some young lady, whose identity escapes me, and the YouTube link was incidental.

I hope every post that includes a YouTube link, by way of information, isn't going to be closed.

If we didn't consolidate youtube threads to one place it forums would be littered with them, there no reason it can't be posted there along with any discussion.

I understand, but that's not the point. It wasn't about YouTube. it was a stand alone subject with additional information gleaned from YouTube, just like posting a photograph.

As I started the topic I am most miffed.

The youtube thread is for funny videos on youtube.

The video was of a young womans command of a difficult foreign language, it was not funny.

I understand about having youtube videos everywhere but this wasn't random, nor would it fit in the youtube thread without lengthy explanation.

Poor modding I'm afraid.
