Over moderating

There is a good sense of community on the Noble forum, normally the moderation is excellent, why did Big Al wade in and do this tonight,The post was by a very long standing member who makes regular contributions. I know Al will be backed up to the hilt, but this is over moderating. I didn't even understand the comment he made.

I don't really need the big guns around to keep an eye on me, I saw three identical posts one in the Noble forum with no replies, one in the Roads forum with no replies the third one in Gen Gassing with 4 replies. The two with no replies were closed, the Gen Gassing one remained open. So no over moderation from me on this occasion.

As Slinky says it appears that another mod came along to deleted the Gen Gassing, not too sure why at this point as I thought that the post was OK.

Regarding you not understanding my comment just to clarify i posted the following:-

"Please do not cross post, as it contravenes the rule of posting no.15"

Rule of Posting No. 15 states you will not "Cross-post across the forums."

Not sure what all the fuss is about over this tbh. Al acted exactly as any of the mods or PH staff would have in the same situation.
