Hi Mods,

Just managed to source something I wanted via the PH classifieds so a big thank you is in order.

However, can I suggest adding another option like "bought via Pistonheads' to select instead of having to select 'sold via'?

The problem is that such a system (where a buyer effectively takes an ad down by marking the item as "bought") is open to abuse from people wanting to see rival vehicles removed from the listings. We'd prefer to keep it so that only a seller can say that an ad has been sold via the site and have the description reflect this fact.

Hi Stuart, maybe at crossed wires here as I maybe didn't explain properly.

I'd placed a 'Wanted' ad in the parts/accessories section and was contacted via PH by someone who had what I was looking for. So, I was suggesting that might there be an additional option to choose 'bought via PH' to more reflect the wanted advert. Nothing to do with being able to manipulate other peoples adverts.
