I've had that Nurofen ad too and some voiceover talking about limescale.
You can click the loudspeaker to turn the noise off - though it would be better if the default position was sound off - and if you were interested you could click the loudspeeker button to turn it on.
Having the default position as on isn't a good idea.

IIRC PH policy is 'no noisy adverts'. But some slip through. I expect PH techies will ring up adserver techies and tell them to cease and desist. Then it will be ok.

I would agree save that I and others use digital dictation and have telephones routed through computers for voice mails so turning sound off when not dictating is a bit of a phaff.
