Guys is there any chance of prefixing the F1 thread with a sticky asking the, er, less mature posters to refrain from it? it's damn near impossible to have any debate without my blood pressure shooting off the scale

^^ Couldn't agree more. The F1 threads used to be an interesting and informative read.

More recently they seem to be inundated with posters who have borderline cretin IQs, and probably still wear shorts during term time.

A code of conduct might not go amiss. That forum has picked up but still needs more work. Reasoned debate and strong support is one thing, but to be honest the actual terms of fanboy and hater are annoying but they're actually accurate in some cases of the protagonists lack of reason and ridiculously delusional viewpoints
