Some URLS not working due to characters

I've noticed it twice now on:

http://www.pistonheads.com/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&a...

http://www.pistonheads.com/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I imagine both due to certain words or characters in the URL.

The workaround seems to be to delete everything after the t=number part of the URL, i.e. the &nmt bit.

Because I'm WELL clever, I know how to fix them. But some people won't and it'll limit peoples audience.
