Expecting someone to come in and ask the traditional "if you were observing the silence, how did you know we closed the site?" any time now.

Our two minute count (by the Beeb's reckoning) finished before PH came back, so i saw the holding page.

Yep, it's a reasonably imprecise science, so we hedge our bets and go down from 10:59 to 11:03. I was checking that it worked and it seemed to be a little bit late starting and stopping for me, using the BBC's coverage as a guide.

Anyway, the sentiment is the point. It is strongly felt by all on PH I'm sure.

I'm quite disappointed that you chose to use the American version of the dates on the remembrance page.

This is England not America, it should have been written as 11/11/11 not as 11/11/11.
