Time to Back Out the New Website

Seriously Guys, you have to hold your hands up and revert to the old site, for reasons of performance and functionality and to say nothing of your own credibility. I am sure you will be forgiven :-)
We know you've been trying hard to revamp the site, but you have missed out some absolutely crucial steps in the process, namely
(1) unit testing, to ensure individual pages and scripts work per specification
(2) system testing, to ensure the site functions as per the design
(3) usability testing, using a Beta release running parallel with the current site, to ensure the users love using it
(4) stress testing, to ensure that your servers can deliver linear performance under load,
(5) acceptance testing, to ensure that the requirements are fulfilled to an acceptable level of quality.
Did you do any of the above? It would seem not, as the new site has been rushed out a a fait accompli, achieving what? Major disgrunt;lement amongst your loyal and it has to be said, majorly patient audience.
Please also consider the desiable features that you are losing, such as automatic page resizing, especially on the classifieds gallery view; detailed summary information for each ad in galery view.
Ask yourselves hard questions about some new features: does the new search really have to be headlining the classifieds? It seems to be a serious load on the server (that would have been highlighted be stress / performance testing).
