Do long term PHers still get free premium adverts?

I'm trying to advertise some seats and it's saying pay now on the advert status. Do long term forum users still get free premium adverts? I realise this may be a problem associated with the classifieds changes.

I changed my password for it yesterday and today it needs the old one again, very odd!

All sorted now, you click pay and it says as a loyal member of PH you get it free. Top stuff as ever guys!

Yep, long term members still get free ads. And they do in the new classifieds system, as well.

Free ads are currently for people with forum accounts from before 1st January 2009.

I am a long term member, but my original e mail address @ukonline.co.uk no longer exists as Rupert Murdoch pulled the plug on the service without letting anyone who used it know.
I had problems logging in as i had forgotten my password so have had to rejoin using another e mail address and username as my password reminder was sent to the no longer used server.........aaargh !

I've found your forum account and your classified account using that email address, but the classified account post dates the qualification date for a free ad.

However your forum account doesn't, so I'll get one of the admins to do what they need to do tomorrow as I can't reset your password myself.

Appreciated, but unnecessary. I just don't have the necessary tools to change his email address and password for him. We'll do that in the morning.

Do long term PH'ers get premium ad upgrades for free? It's suggested above we do but when I try and do that I get to the payment screen and can go no further.

I had previously assumed I just got standard ads free now but this thread has made me think it should be premium now.

Jim,

We've changed the email address on that account and reset the password, so look out for an email with instructions on how to log in.

Have asked techs to see if there's a problem with the automatic free upgrade, so will come back to you on that JAM35F
