PH PhoneSafe number not available

Hi all,

For the last couple of days, I've been trying to list my advert, but each time I select PH PhoneSafe, I get the following error message;

"Unfortunately we cannot allocate you with a PH PhoneSafe number at this time."

I've tried in both Chrome and IE with the same result.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Morning Chap.

The error is exactly what it says on the tin, we're unable to give you a phone safe number right now because we've run out. We're getting our pool refreshed which should free up a bunch of numbers. But we've got no time line on how long this could take.
Long and short of it is that it'll say that until the pool has some free numbers.

We keep phone safe numbers for old adverts in a quarantine area for X number of days so that the "new" holder of the number doesn't get calls about the advert that number was previously assigned to.
So it seems we've had a run on phonesafe adverts and have exceeded our expected throughput.

So I guess I use my own number or just email.

Is there anyway that I can find out when they'll become available again?

If you have an old mobile handset knocking around, grab a free SIM (e.g. from o2) and then chuck it away when you're done with it.

Infact, I think I may have a Orange SIM knocking around somewhere...

I wonder if I can forward from one mobile to my main mobile rather than carrying two phones??? Hmm, something to look into.

You can but the 1st sim will be charged per minute for forwarding the call as if you were calling the other mobile from it.
