Request to recover 2 old adverts

Evening all,

I'm in the unfortunate position of my insurance company requesting proof that I purchased some goods with the cash that I got from my recent sale of alloy wheels on here. The only way I can think of doing this is finding the advert to show that they were indeed for sale.

Is there any way of recovering old adverts from my username?

They would have been on www.pistonheads.com/sales/3256593.htm
and
www.pistonheads.com/sales/3279987.htm

Any help would be massively appreciated!

Because I bought some other stuff off gumtree with the cash, and said items were subsequently stolen and so they're asking for anything that would help with proof of purchase. They suggested proof that I had the cash available in the first place, so just a bank statement or something. Having sold 2 lots of wheels, I did the manly thing and kept the notes in my wallet and spent it!!

I'm trying to dig out the contact details for the people that bought them but not having any luck

Having had similar issues with insurers I simply told them no I don't have proof.

I don't need to have proof.

They paid up just fine.

The short answer is no.

The long answer is very long and probably wouldn't get you what you want anyway. If you can get them to cough up without I'd try that.
