On the left hand menu there are several news links:

As someone else on the thread says, all hands are currently devoted to the classifieds, which will relaunch very soon.
On the dev roadmap for 2012 is, amongst many other things, a revamped mobile site, an iPad skin and a new Oily Pages. As has been said though, Oily Pages was/will be a directory for advertisers rather than an online workshop manual.
We've 4 full time developers working on PH now, so we've got more resource to try and get new functionality built as well as just keeping the site running.

Of course, if there's no improvement, we could all ask for our annual subscription fee to be refunded...

Good news. I was serious about the online workshop thingy. Unsure how it works with regards to liability etc but the standard "this is just a guide, follow at your own risk" at the start should cover it.S
I'd be happy to add "articles" myself as we go. Could be anything from mechanics, to electronics to detailing (
) I know there are a good few others that wouldn't mind doing the same.
