If you report the threads to the Mods with an appropriate comment they'll take a look and act accordingly

OK! There are enough cyclists on PH for these generalised threads to be quite tiresome and offensive. They are best dealt with in the cycling section in my opinion.

I think you misunderstood me.

If you report the thread and comment that it should be moved to the cycling forum then that might happen if the mod in question agree's that it's where it should go.

9/10 I'd assume they would agree and move it for you.

You don't have to wait for it to get out of hand before reporting it.

There was one that sprung up that was locked immediately today, which I think was good. I'll report it next time. It's only a matter of days away, I'm sure!

Our mods can't be everywhere at once. Where as the users are.
Report things and they'll get seen, Don't and they might get lost against the background noise of PH (and we all know there's quite a lot of that)

We have a number of report categories (selectable when you report a thread) FYI or Other might be apt for a move request.
