Whilst this was reported by the press I see no difference between this and my thread about the woman stabbed in china.

I do struggle to understand the modding on here sometimes. It is news as it is a very interesting and disturbing situation. I made it very clear about the content of the video and that people needed to not watch it etc if easily upset yet my topic was deleted.

24 -48 hrs from now it may hit the normal press at which point you will no doubt find it acceptable to allow the video etc to posted on forum as "news".

And are we to delete every thread reported by an over sensitive soul then or are we to take the view that some may be more sensitive than others but that they were warned and as such have no reason for complaint?

It is a slippery slope when threads start being deleted merely because of sensitive souls who take no heed of warnings.

I agree... Can't see why else they would delete it. I had a link to a 'maggots being taken out of a nostril' operation taken down on the YouTube link. All depends on the report button, I think.

Just because you posted that it was NSFW, a NUMBER of reports were received on the thread. Whilst IMHO it wasn't necessarily NSFW, it was pretty horrific in content and rightly removed from a family website, again IMHO.

It really matter not what minors can find on the internet, they won't find it here, and until Haymarket decide otherwise that is the benchmark we work to.

If you cannot feel safe browsing PH with a "minor" shoulder surfing daddy/mommy, then IMHO it will be a sad place to be.

If however you need something a little more adult in your life then it's simple really, find another website.

Surely though, anyone posting on PH should have read the posting rules, which clearly states what is acceptable and what isnt. Maybe when giving new members a time out before they can access the lounge one of the prerequisites for gaining entry should be having to read the posting rules?

Not only did i post that it was NSFW i posted what the video contained and that if it would upset anyone not to watch it.

I think its pretty sodding obvious with all the warnings i put. It was also something easily available to find on the web.

And as i have said no doubt the second it hits the news it will be posted back in here again and accepted as news and un-offensive.

If numerous people felt it was reportable then maybe THEY should move to a more mommy and child website which only has pictures and articles about fluffy wuffy little bunny wabbits.

Another PH mod double standard or whatever. Oh well i'll play by your mod rules then. Bring on the reports for comments and articles that offend my delicate sensibilities and my eventual ban for over reporting.
