Just saw this today:
Now I dont mind internet advertising. It is a very necessary fact of having such a good website as Pishonheads avaialble free. But allowing this sort of business to sponsor them?

Clinical neglegence
claims abroad
claim today! No win, no fee.
Its s*um businesses like these which are pushing up the cost of motoring for everyone. Had a knock and its not your fault? Well we'll claim for you, pretend its whiplash why dont you and we'll get some more cash. You'll only notice it when the insurance premium comes for renewal, but who cares, as you have a RIGHT to compensataion
Please Pistonheds, think about where your income is generated. Surely you should have a standard of ethics for those businesses you deal with?
(or are they going to read this and sue me becuase their feeling are hurt. As is their neck. And their....)

Im going to hazard a guess that everybody sees the same banner accross the top and in the middle and the one down the right hand side top to bottom is based on your cookies/browsing history.
Aside to this I also cannot understand why we have allowed such companies to advertise as they are a massive contributor to the ever increasing price to run a vehicle.
Business is business at the end of the day but surely principle comes in somewhere along the line.

It doesn't matter what's on your local machine.The ad you're seeing is being served up by DoubleClick, which is owned by Google. They serve up ads to you based on something they call an "Anonymous ID" that tracks your movement and interests across all of Google's sites and any site that serves up ads from DoubleClick.
