Quoting loses first letter

I've seen plenty of examples where someone quotes someone else and loses the first letter of the quotee's post; has usually been in examples of nested quotes so I just put it down to user retardery.

This morning, however, (bright and perky; retard-free) I quoted a standard post and was presented with quoted text with the first letter missing!

So, apologies to all those I have silently rolled my eyes at for presenting broken quotations, for it seems the hamsters are eating the first letter of some quotes!

Bizarre, non?





BTW. Has anyone mentioned that the site's almost unusuably slow?

It's a known bug and it's on the to do fix list.
