Login problems - password and email verification
Discussion
Am having big problems logging into the site - I use a combination of laptop at work, a couple of phones and an ipad and pretty well daily for the last week I've had to reset my password as the one I've been using since I joined no longer works. I then have to verify my email address before I can post. Seems to be an issue if I move between machines, so if I stay only using this laptop its ok, but if I log in at home on a different machine I have to reset everythign from the ground up again..

Afraid not.. Just changed my password and logged out of the laptop to try to log in on a phone and it wouldn't accept my password. Back to the laptop and it asked me to verify my email address..
I tend to not log out of one machine before I log into another - so the laptop at work for example isn't connected all weekend, (I close the window even if I don't log out), but I am never I think online with 2 machines at once..
Pretty sure my pattern of logging in and out hasn't changed at all over the last few months so not sure what the problem could be..

The only thing I can guess is that the cookie stored on your machine thinks your e-mail address is not verified. So if you verify it on one machine, the other is not going to know.
Try this: When you get a computer that works fine, leave it. Then if another computer or device thinks your e-mail address is not verified, clear your cookies and try to log in.
It's a bit of a long shot, but clearing cookies never hurts.
