"Short" but snappy url links

How do I put a url/link in a post without it looking untidy?

Other PHers seem to be able to post a link that's "proper" words, but underlined, and when you click it, you get redirected to whatever the url was?

Like this [ url ]fancy tile here | put the actual url here [ /url ] obviously without the spaces.
That or quote this post after viewing this video to see how its done .
