How do I search within a thread?

Sorry if this is a really stupid question but I can’t figure out how to search within threads.

For example I know there was a deal on a Vauxhall adam in the best lease deal thread recently yet I can figure how to find it.

Any clues greatly appreciated

I think the best you can do is set your forum preferences for the maximum number of posts per page then use your browsers find function (ctrl F) to search each page.

Frustrating as the ability to search within a post would be so useful and is kinda standard on other forums.

What about using Google?

Something like "site: pistonheads.com lease deals vauxhall adam" should find it?
