Why denied access to a thread?
Discussion

Can someone explain to me why I have been denied access to this thread please - clarifying which point in the T&Cs is breached causing this, Ive checked none are so am at a loss and request this be reversed OR if the rules are changing T&Cs updated so it’s applicable to all forum members.
One poster in that thread call me a
and I can see he/she is still posting in it so aggressive bullying language permitted against another forum user is clearly against the T&Cs.
Debate and challenge is all part of discussion as long as there is no abuse to members.

Probably, because as with most threads you are active in, you attempt to de rail them, usually with your googling of banal facts that really have no bearing.
Are we the only ones who can see what a bore you are ?
And you are?Are we the only ones who can see what a bore you are ?

Quick glance at the thread suggests someone’s reported you for being a bore (and a boor), the mods agreed, and you were banned from the thread... Such is life.
And the two posters calling another forum member a Edited by DanL on Thursday 20th September 22:45
? Abusive language towards other members is not allowed - I wonder why the mods didn’t do the same if not more. I simply want consistency.

Just had a look at the posting rules. I’d guess you were in breach of rule 4. There doesn’t appear to be any rule regarding abusive language - you’ve made that up, and/or confused it with rule 5 (threatening violence).

Calling another poster a
certainly is IMHo a very aggressive word (up there with calling someone the N word etc) / it’s certainly offensive at the very least. You agree not to use the Website:

That quote isn’t anywhere in the posting rules, so far as I can see. I’d also argue that you can’t see what someone’s called you unless you choose to by quoting them - otherwise it’s censored.

Anyway, it’s all moot - someone reported you, a mod presumably decided you were being argumentative for the sake of it, and you were banned from the thread. If you reported the posters who insulted you, maybe they would also be banned. If there’s no report, there’s generally no action in my experience.

I want to report them but I cannot do that in the thread as I cannot do so if banned from the thread so they get away Scot free...Anyway, it’s all moot - someone reported you, a mod presumably decided you were being argumentative for the sake of it, and you were banned from the thread. Also when you see c@@t or you are a royal c@@t even elementary school kids could deduce what it states.
But I’ll await the Mods to do the correct thing - fair equality in treatment with respect to the rules.
