Advert deleted from PH as sold, still on Classic + sports

I posted an ad in the classifieds recently to sell my 350Z.

The car has recently sold and I deleted the advert, however today I have received an email from someone viewing the sad on Classic and Sportscar.

Now as I don’t have an account on there and haven’t posted it to there, I assume it was cross posted as part of Haymarket’s advertising.

So why hasn’t it been deleted along with the PH advert?

And please can someone tell me how many other websites it may have been cross advertised to that I also need to go to now and delete the advert?

Thank you for raising this and apologies for the inconvenience – I'll investigate and get back to you although I expect it'll be Monday now I'm afraid.

I've now archived the advert so it shouldn't show on PH or CSC but we will investigate this.

Hi Cyder,

As part of the sale of PistonHeads to CarGurus, classic and sports car has been separated as it remains with haymarket.

Looks like they have taken some adverts across causing this problem. As the sites do not talk to each other anymore I will flag it with haymarket to remove from C&SC, and check the adverts remaining in C&SC so this doesn't happen for anyone else, but as Ben says it will be Monday.

This is the only other site your advert is on.
