Any one any idea why I can’t post after 10pm. It’s getting annoying now. It says it’s because I’m new and something about some abuse earlier.
After 10pm is when I get some good internet time.
Thanks.

Correct. New members are on a three (I think) month probation.

It's because whoever runs the spam bots knows that as a mainly uk site, the forum moderators are likely to be asleep overnight so it's the optimum time for them to register new accounts and post their drivel all over the boards. As PH have no way of determining whether you're a spam bot or genuine, you're getting caught up in it just in case.

Think of it as a probation period until you've been around long enough.

Was roughly 3 months for me, I didn't really notice not being considered one but I know at around 2 months, I posted moaning about why I was still considered new laugh

You’ve enabled the blood/alcohol sensor in the iPhone. It will also prevent you from impulse buying a tank on eBay after a bottle or two .
Just go into settings and turn off “booze sensor” in options

As other have said, there is a probation period in place for new members. This is just to reduce the spam we get while no one is around! The time period new members cannot post is 9pm until 9am every night.

Thanks smile

It should be 2 weeks, but there has been some issues surrounding this. If anyone is out of the two week period but still can't post in these times, please let me know and I'll manually update your status.

Cheers.
