Search function?
Discussion
I've always found using Google's generic search terms the best when searching any site.
I.e Pistonheads + RS6 will search for the word RS6 on the Pistonheads site. (This may fine other results where Pistonheads is included as well but generally works really well.
If you want to be very specific Google Site:Pistonheads.com + RS6 and it will only search pustonheads rather than the web in general.
This can be used with the - symbol to emit results.
Works much better than the internal search.

It's frankly pointless for any forum to invest in a search engine when Google will always be better.
Just open google and use "site
istonheads.com " and then your search term. You can refine from there.
There are many things a free forum could be doing but replicating functionality that is available for free is not one of them?

Google is our friend.
Feedback forum.
Feedback = would like to see a forum search feature that works on mobile.
For those of you who want to provide feedback on google ... why not try googles feedback system?
Fact is, there is a search function here, I'm reasonably happy with it, however my feedback is that it should be accessible on the mobile site.

The functionality is already there on the full browser site. Adding a link to the button on the mobile site is probably a half hour job for someone who does it as a living. (and I'm including testing and bureaucracy in that).Just open google and use "site
