I recently upgraded to the latest version of chrome which apparently checks if a password and username has been shared online elsewhere in a data leak.

When I just logged into Pistonheads (as i'd been booted out again) the popup appeared warning me to change my password as the combination has been found online.

Pretty certain I don't use this username & password combination anywhere else.

So has Pistonheads lost my user info?

Update Chrome again, it's now Version 80.0.3987.87.

and check again, could have been a Chrome fart. I don't get a warning.

Ps, That story was from December so you should be on a newer version anyway.

Even if PH had suffered a hack, the hackers wouldn’t be able to see our passwords as PH encrypts them.

If you put the email you've registed on PistonHeads with into this website, does it come back as compromised? https://haveibeenpwned.com
