post removal question

I had a post removed and got given a 30 day ban.

There's an instruction in the rules on querying a ban.

My query got no reply, so I asked again a week later. No reply.

Is there a reason why these queries were ignored, or is there just no query system in reality?

It's all a bit up in the air at the moment, not sure why.
