What happened in the Non Technic Lego thread?

There seems to have been a cull of a couple of pages in the Non Technic Lego thread - was this a mod led activity? If so, why?

The Lego threads get pretty spicy indeed sometimes.

I can't see any obvious reason why the page numbering might have changed.
