Perhaps we need a new forum,
Shout down opposing views,insult and general being a f
king knobhead forum.
News and politics is fast becoming a st hole of a forum,frequented by some that contribute very little in the way of debate but are class leaders at being argumentative tts,just for the hell of it.

Post enough stuff people object to and sooner or later actions have consequences.

Declaring an interest here I got banned for life from NP&E (having seen far worse behaviour go unpunished. Hey ho, dems is da rules) but I have found that I don't actually miss it in the main. Yes i was pissed to begin with but there is far more civility in all of the other sub-forae, which makes for a far more pleasant experience.
Maybe politics could be spun-off into a separate bear-pit or a sub-forum for 'history' added since a fair chunk of history does seem to get re-routed to to bear-pit....

Not being on NP&E has been good for me - though there have been some threads which were quite interesting. Not enough to make me appeal though.
