When your thread hits 500 pages, does it automatically go to volume 2 or do you need to create a new one?

It has to be done manually, the mods shut down the old volume and link to a new one.
Which thread are you concerned about?

I am presuming it is ‘What's your big gamble?’.
It has about another 350 posts to reach to 10,000 limit.
You can let the mods know when it is near 10,000 by using the ‘report button’
