Is it just me that can't add Smilies from the link page?

Last couple of messages I have only been able to type them in eg

My problem was when replying to topic.

What use to happen until the other day was that clicking Smilies above the message box would open a small window with Icon and what to type. By clicking on the icon it would then appear as an icon in the reply box. Now this don't happen and I can't work out why, maybe something admin' have done.

Tried that one at random.
It doesn't work on my iPad in normal view but does work on my android phone in mobile view.

Well i'm blowed - 18 years on PH and never new the icons are "clickable". I thought that page was just to look up what to type. Anyhow many thanks it's working on Chromebook

Just tried the Windows 10 emoji shortcut on the Laptop, didn't work in the message, smilies appear like this........Crying face = 😢.

I have noticed this, have to type them in instead of the usual 'click' on them in the drop down list

That’s what happens when you try to use phone / PC icons and not the proprietary stuff they use here
